New and improved! Two day weekend format and much lower price! The third edition of Introduction to VistA System Administration with Astronaut will be held in Houston, Texas, September 25-26th. Limited seats are available. This comprehensive training event will start you on the journey to Electronic Health Record excellence and will be held in Houston, Texas, Septeber 25-26th, 2010.

Prerequisites:
Laptop running Windows XP or better (but not Windows-64). Temporary cloud servers provided, but bring a valid credit card to register your own long term one. Dual-boot Linux laptop okay but you will not be able to run server or clients simultaneously. Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of computer system administration and/or software engineering. Basic Linux installation topics such as rpm, deb, yum, apt-get. Basic topics will be covered only briefly. Intermediate to advanced keyboard skills are a must.
Early bird registration is available through January 17th 2009 for $3,000 and after January 31st for $3,500. Registration is non-refundable 1 week before the event.
